Our Story
Hello and welcome! We hope you enjoy the website and look
forward to sharing our many adventures with you!
Mary and I will celebrate our 14 year anniversary in
October, can you believe it? Time really does fly! We spend the first few
years together in the Bay Area of California, before packing up and heading
to the Rocky Mountains. Colorado suits us well: 300 sunny days a year, lots
of outdoor activity, beautiful sunrises and sunsets - fresh air - and our
incredible 1.5 acres of property with awesome mountain views! Did I mention
our house? Oh yeah, it's pretty cool too! Check out the Photo Gallery for
more details!
Hobbies & Interests
 |
Gardening & Landscaping - We love spending time on our
property!
Spring brings plenty of planting and preparing, as well as a
lot of
weed-pulling and dreaming! |
 |
Travel - Well, I'm sure it comes as NO SURPRISE to anyone
that travel tops our list of fun activities! We've been to some
incredible places and already have a few more destinations in the
works! |
 | Hiking & Biking - We hope to explore a lot of new trails
this year with the Xterra and full suspension mountain bikes! Woohoo!!!!!
|
 | Music - Mary spent many years performing on stage - she's
incredibly talented, playing "by ear" any instrument she has ever
touched - piano, guitar, clarinet, flutes, sax, percussion - you name
it! Me, I've always been a little more of a "behind the scenes" kinda
gal, preferring to do lighting/techie work... I enjoy playing my
guitars and would love to learn the piano at some point.
|
 | Healing & Well-Being - We spend a fair amount of time
focusing on how we want to be living our life, whether it's nutrition,
positive thinking or physical activity - it's all about balance! Here
are some of our favorite links:
|
 | Career & Employment - Here's a little information about our
companies! We are both very happy in our careers and feel that our
employers contribute to this world in a positive way.
 | Mary spends her days at
General Electric, (formerly Ionics
Instruments) as the National Field Service Manager. She is also a
Certified Massage Therapist and devotes her weeknights to working
with clients in her home office. |
 | Kandy spends her days at
Hewlett-Packard as a Program Manager
consulting on IT related employee communications. Her evenings are
spent doing graphic design work or waxing her awesome Roush 427R.
